How information is handled when you play SuperSudoku, visit this website, or get in touch.

The essentials

Your puzzles and progress are stored on your device. Google services process technical information for ads, analytics, crash reports, and app configuration. This website has no analytics or advertising trackers.

1. About this policy

SuperSudoku is an Android Sudoku game provided by xiaofeidev. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, visit our website at https://sudoku-b03ec.web.app, or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email xiaofeidev@gmail.com.

You can play the local Sudoku game without creating an account with us. Puzzle solving and game storage take place on your device. The app also includes Google services for advertising, usage measurement, crash reporting and remote configuration, which process information as described below.

2. Game information stored on your device

The app stores puzzles, your entries and notes, move history, saved progress, completion results, elapsed time, difficulty progress, hint history and hint credits in its private local storage. It also saves preferences such as theme, accent color, text size, gameplay assistance, sound and vibration.

We use these records to resume games, explain and review logical steps, calculate statistics, maintain difficulty progression and remember your preferences. The app keeps local records of ad requests and interactions to limit advertising frequency. The current app does not upload your saved boards or move history to a developer-operated game server.

3. Analytics and crash reports

Analytics and crash reporting are enabled by default for a new installation. Previously saved choices are retained when the app is updated.

Google Analytics for Firebase helps us understand app usage. Events include screen views, game starts and completions, difficulty, completion time, hints used, hint techniques and ad impressions. Google also processes app-instance identifiers, session information, device and app details and approximate location derived from network information. We do not intentionally attach your name or email address to these events. The app configures Analytics advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization as denied; this setting is separate from AdMob's advertising processing.

Firebase Crashlytics helps diagnose crashes and nonfatal errors. Reports can contain stack traces, device and app information, installation and session identifiers, and context such as the current screen, difficulty, app version and ad-free entitlement status.

You can turn analytics and crash reporting on or off independently in Settings > Privacy & About. Turning them off does not delete data already sent to Google. These choices are separate from AdMob consent and do not disable Firebase Remote Config.

4. Remote configuration and Google services

Firebase Remote Config supplies operational settings, including advertising frequency rules. It processes installation identifiers and technical information such as app and operating-system versions, language, country and time zone. These requests are separate from game analytics. Supporting Firebase libraries also process installation and session information to operate these services.

The app includes the Google Play Games SDK. Although cloud-save sign-in is not offered in the current app, Google Play Games components may initialize and process service-use and diagnostic information under Google's privacy practices. We do not operate a separate player-account registration service.

Google Play separately handles app distribution and information associated with your Google account. We do not ask you to enter payment-card or bank details in SuperSudoku.

5. Advertising and consent

SuperSudoku uses Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK processes information such as IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, advertising or app-set identifiers, relevant device/account identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Which advertising information is available can depend on device settings, region and consent choices.

The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent information and display a consent message when Google requires one. When Google requires advertising privacy options, you can open Advertising privacy choices in Settings > Privacy & About to review or change your advertising consent choices. Ad requests are checked against the consent state returned by that platform. Advertising can include banner, interstitial, app-open and rewarded formats; rewarded ads can provide additional hint credits. Ads and reward availability can vary.

Android provides advertising ID and advertising privacy controls, which vary by device and operating-system version. Changing these controls does not remove your local game progress and does not necessarily stop every form of advertising-related technical processing.

6. Sharing puzzles and contacting us

If you choose to share a puzzle, the app creates an image of the original puzzle locally and opens Android's sharing interface. The app grants access to the receiving app you select. That app or service handles the shared copy under its own policies; SuperSudoku does not automatically publish the image.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate your request and provide support. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

7. Our website

Our website provides product information, this policy and links to Google Play. Its pages do not run analytics or advertising trackers or set analytics or advertising cookies. Firebase Hosting receives technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver the website and help prevent abuse. Following a Google Play or other external link brings you to a service governed by its own policies.

8. Recipients and security

Information described above is processed by the relevant Google and Firebase services. Information you deliberately share is also received by your selected sharing service, or by us and our email provider when you contact support. We may disclose information when necessary to respond to a lawful request, protect rights or investigate abuse.

We use app-private storage for local records. Google documents encrypted transmission for the services described here, and this website is served over HTTPS. No transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Google and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, according to their applicable terms and safeguards.

9. Retention and deletion

Local game records and preferences generally remain until they are changed, replaced or removed with the app's data. Some local advertising records are pruned as frequency checks and recording occur. Android may remove temporary cache files.

You can remove app-private data using Android's app storage controls or by uninstalling SuperSudoku. This removes local saved progress and preferences. It does not delete copies already shared to other apps or data previously processed by Google. Reinstalling the app creates a new local installation and does not, by itself, restore your previous local games.

Google/Firebase data is retained according to the relevant service policies and configurations. We do not promise that uninstalling immediately erases remotely processed records. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and any related operational or legal obligations.

10. Your choices and requests

You can manage available advertising and Google-account controls in Android and your Google settings, choose whether to share a puzzle or contact support, and clear the app's local data. Uninstalling stops further activity from that installation.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact xiaofeidev@gmail.com to make a request. We may need information to identify the relevant records and verify the request. We cannot retrieve or remotely delete game data held only on your device, and third-party records may require a request to the relevant provider. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

11. Children and policy updates

SuperSudoku is intended for people aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can investigate and address it.

We may update this policy when the app or our data practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
